Ten’s programming department have confirmed that Tuesday, February 8th is the return date for Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation. This is the 3rd year of TAYG (as Shaun pronounces it) and the premiere episode is a special 70 minute length. Woot!
Once again, the call has gone out from the TAYG Facebook page for donated trophies, so we can expect that to return this year. And despite some misplaced rumours, Josh is returning for Gen Y – Shaun joked about him leaving in the final show, but as Josh tweeted it was a joke. Yesterday he tweeted that the first episode had just finished taping – and it was exciting and insane.
The anticipation… (in the meantime, we have repeats of Season 2…)
I just watched it and I have to say Shaun’s mind was elsewhere. Never have I seen someone so seething and non responsive hosting a comedy type show like Shaun was. In between shooting daggers from time to time, he just looked really annoyed and could not wait for the taping of the show to be over. I would put my house on it this is the last season, and maybe even will be cut short depending on the contract with ten. Shame as it’s a fun show, but if the host is over it – it’s not worth going on with it!
If wearing a brand new tie for the show isn’t commitment enough for you, you’re a tricky customer.
