This year the Melbourne International Comedy Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary. Unfortunately, Shaun doesn’t have a show this year (though we yearn for a Good Evening encore), so here instead is a clip from Shaun performing magic at the 2009 Gala (which he hosted):

That magic trick clip is a classic! I love when he runs across the stage with the knife, that cracks me up. Then at the end with his trademark drop kick of the rope peice 🙂
I used to put that on when I was having a miserable morning at work. Even without the ‘magical music’ it always got me grinning.
*le sigh* I’d so love to be in Victoria at the moment…or even just on the 14th.
