TV Tonight has it on very “good authority” that Mad as Hell will return to ABC1 in 2014. We’re not sure what authority, but since it’s good news, we’re going to run with it.
But as David Knox points out, Mr & Mrs Murder is a long-shot to return for a second series, because, as previously noted on this site, it is largely dependent on funding.
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for an official announcement on MAH!
Yes! This show is great, Shaun and co are brilliant. I have watched season 1 and 2 several times. Shaun’s comedy stands alone and is intelligent humour, unlike the majority of other terrible comedians!

Mr and Mrs Murder was Brilliant. I often watch the dvd, despite the fact I know what’s going to happen. It is a breath of fresh air!
You say that a series two relies on funding…where can we donate, so that another series of this show can be made? And I’m sure if you let people know on Facebook and twitter, then those with taste would also donate.
So come on Shaun, put on those runners, get fit and create a series two of Mrs and Mrs Murder….please!!!!
Our local PBS affiliate just started broadcasting “Mr. & Mrs. Murder” a few months ago in a pairing with with the “Miss Fisher Mysteries” series. It only went through the series once and went back to its lame fundraising programming. (I can write that with a clear conscience because I donate on a continual membership.) If you want more funding, is it realistic to try broadcasting it in the States sooner? I really adore your show and will follow you and Kat Stewart in all you do now that I know you are out there on streaming video. Good luck. I hope the series can come back, but, if it is too late, I will keep an eye out for your other projects. Good luck.
